Modern Slavery Statement
Made by Phare HR Consulting, Ltd under Section 54(1), Part 6 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, for the financial year ending 31 December 2025.
Introduction
This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement is made in response to Section 54(1), Part 6 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and relates to actions and activities for the financial year ending 31 December 2025. Phare HR Consulting, Ltd is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its own operations, its supply chain and its services. We have zero tolerance towards slavery and require our supply chain to comply with our values.
Organisational structure
Phare HR Consulting, Ltd has business operations in the United Kingdom. We operate in the HR and employment sector, offering fractional HR support, compliance consulting, payroll management, talent acquisition and AI workforce management. Our supply chain includes partnerships with HR professionals, consultants and service providers supporting businesses in the UK, US, EU and Canada.
Policies
We have internal policies to keep our practices ethical, transparent and free from modern slavery risk. Our Recruitment and Selection Policy sets out rigorous pre-employment checks so that everyone we engage is legally eligible to work and no forced or exploitative labour occurs, with additional background checks for roles involving vulnerable people. Our Supplier Code of Conduct requires suppliers to comply with local and international employment law and to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking do not occur in their operations. Our Whistleblowing Policy encourages employees, consultants and suppliers to report suspected unethical practice, and reports are investigated confidentially.
Due diligence
We carry out internal supplier audits, external reviews of key suppliers where necessary, and risk assessments across our operations and supply chain. These procedures are designed to identify and reduce risk, to address concerns proactively through ongoing engagement with suppliers, and to ensure compliance with legal and ethical employment standards.
Risk and compliance
Every new supplier undergoes a risk assessment. We maintain an annual risk profile of key suppliers and review our supply chain on an ongoing basis against labour law updates and supplier conduct. We do not operate in an industry with high exposure to modern slavery, and our primary suppliers are HR consultants, service providers and technology platforms in the UK, US and EU, which are subject to strict labour laws. We remain vigilant and act immediately on any non compliance. Where a supplier fails to meet our standards we work with them to improve, or end the relationship.
Effectiveness
We contact all of our suppliers every three months to assess compliance with modern slavery law and ethical labour standards, and we audit key suppliers annually. We continue to develop our monitoring and reporting.
