Meet Amber Aziza, the HR and AI consultant who thinks your AI should be managed like staff, because that is exactly what it is.
Amber has spent 23 years in HR and workforce management, 13 of them running her own businesses, with HR certifications on both sides of the Atlantic and a certification as an AI prompt engineer on top. She has built teams inside Fortune 500 companies and inside two person shops, and somewhere along the way worked out that the two have more in common than anyone admits.
Back of House started with her own business. She needed the help, could not justify the hire, and went looking at AI agents fully expecting to be disappointed. What she found instead was that the tools were fine and the management was the problem. People were taking on an AI employee with no job description, no onboarding and nobody checking the work, then judging it on day one and deciding the whole thing was a con.
That is not an AI problem. It is a management problem, and management problems happen to be her life's work.
So that is how she does it. Every AI agent gets what a human hire gets. A clear job description. Proper onboarding. Someone supervising the work. A manager who notices when the output quietly drops off in month three. It is unglamorous, it is not technical, and it is the part almost nobody teaches.
Ask her and she will tell you plainly that she is not a technical person. She is a workforce person who learned the tools because her own business needed the help, then kept going because they worked.
She is also a seasoned speaker, years of it, mostly workshops and keynotes, and she tries to send people away with something they can use on Monday morning and a couple of laughs on the way out.
An American in London, Amber's passport tells a story. She has called the US, Italy and Thailand home.
