Recommended tools

The few tools we actually use.

Fewer tools, used well. Every one of these is something we use ourselves, in our own business or with clients. Here is what each is for, and where it stops.

Some of these links pay us a small commission if you sign up. You pay the same either way, and we only recommend tools we actually use.

Opus Pro

Turns one long video or recording into a batch of short clips, with captions, without you editing each one by hand. Useful if you already record something, whether that is a podcast, a live class or a chat on your phone. It does not make the video for you, it just does the cutting.

Marblism

The AI website builder and AI agent system we run this site and our client setups on. It builds the pages, and it runs AI staff with real job descriptions, which is the part that matters. If you want a site and an AI team in one place, start here.

Flodesk

Email marketing for small businesses. Clean templates for newsletters and announcements, and lists you can actually keep on top of. Worth it if you need to email customers regularly without learning a design tool first.

Flown

Live focus sessions with other people on the call, working alongside you. It sounds like a small thing and it is not. Best for the work you keep putting off because nobody is watching and there is always something else to do.

Descript

Edit audio and video by editing the words on screen, like a document. Delete a sentence and the video goes with it. Handy for trimming a recording, fixing a stumble, or tidying up a voice note before you send it.
